Odor Profile: Cinnamon Leaf Oil has a warm, spicy, clove-like aroma with phenolic character — distinct from the sweeter cinnamon bark oil, it is more intense and woody-spicy, driven primarily by eugenol. Widely used in oriental fragrances, incense, flavours and aromatherapy.

  • Odor Type: Warm Spicy, Clove-like, Phenolic, Woody
  • Odor Strength: Strong
  • Appearance: Yellow to Brown Liquid
  • Key Component: Eugenol (70–90%)
  • Flash Point: ~78°C

Applications

  • Fine Perfumery: Warm spicy note in oriental, amber and gourmand compositions
  • Agarbatti / Incense: Authentic cinnamon-spice character in premium incense compounds
  • Aromatherapy: Warming, circulatory stimulant, antiseptic
  • Flavours: Spice flavours in food, bakery and beverage applications

Usage Guidelines

Recommended usage: 0.5–5% in fragrance compounds. Use with care — eugenol can cause skin sensitisation at high levels. Pairs with clove, benzoin, vanilla, cardamom and rose.
